ABOUT ME

PT:
Quando eu penso em criatividade, a primeira coisa que me vem à mente é meu cachorro: Bart, um sharpei de seis anos com alma de menino.
Aqui em casa, a gente brinca (mas nem tanto) que todo dia ele inventa algo novo.
Um dia, ele declara guerra ao saco plástico que está voando pela rua no meio do passeio. No outro, descobre como construir uma cabaninha sob os lençóis que estão secando ao sol. Depois, decide tirar um cochilo atrás do fogão (e, naturalmente, fica preso).
Todo. Fucking. Dia.
Uma verdadeira roleta russa de dobrinhas, pelo rajado e imprevisibilidade. Às vezes é engraçado, às vezes preocupante, mas é sempre uma novidade.
Criatividade, para mim, é isso: a possibilidade de fazer algo novo todos os dias.

When I think about creativity, the first thing that comes to mind is my dog: Bart, a six-year-old Shar Pei with the soul of a little boy.
At home, we like to joke (but not really) that every single day he comes up with something new.
One day, he declares war on a plastic bag flying across the street in the middle of our walk. The next, he figures out how to build a little fort under the sheets drying in the sun. Then, he decides to take a nap behind the stove (and, naturally, gets stuck).
Every. Fucking. Day.
A true game of Russian roulette made of wrinkles, brindle fur, and pure unpredictability. Sometimes it’s funny. Sometimes it’s worrying. But it’s always something new.
That’s what creativity is to me: the possibility of making something new every single day.
